As I write, Callista and I are going to Bernatone Alphornbau. This is a company that makes the remarkable alphorns. We got to watch eight alphorn players in Charmey a week ago during the cattle parade. They are symbolic of traditional Switzerland. Since Callista plays the French horn, she actually has the skill to play an alphorn. If they let her play one, I will send a picture in the future.
